snipping tool needs scroll functionality

Submitted by G-Z on August 12, 2008 to Usability

The snipping tool is too limited. Particularly on a small screen not everything that one wants to capture is displayed on the screen. Snipping tool doesn't allow to scroll down a window to select more content than the section that can be seen on the screen.

For small screens it would be helpful if it could make screenshots of window content that goes beyond the screen.

@.Chris and europrg_09: Of course you're both right. I'm sorry I didn't know that. I changed the submission. Now it is more specific and focuses on the most important feature I miss.

You are both also correct about the user interface although at this program it doesn't really annoy me that much. Probably because it is meant to be a limited tool with a very specific functionality.
