User Icon Effects
I really like simple graphics. So I made a simple User Icon without any gradients or effects. Just 2 colors.
But if I use this icon as Windows User Icon / Avatar then all the simplicity of my Icon is gone: I see some strange effects that make my icon some kind of ugly.
Let the User decide if he wants the User Icon Effects or just his simple Icon.

I think everyone understand the point of this submission.
I just don't want a "plain" image on my logon photo. I like the slight shiny effect that Vista adds to user image. Maybe just a bit of customization would be fine.
For the "blurry" problem, try to use a 128x128 png image.
Well, if you want to have the effects than you could decide if you want to.
I haven't said that the effects should completely go, I want to have a button "Turn Effects Off" if the effects are shown or an button "Turn Effects On" if the icon is without the effects.
So why devoting this if you can choose to still having the effect?
Why would MS waste their time on something trivial like this?
@gdvlive: If you really really want to remove that effects, you can edit the png resources with Restorator from bome or another resource editor.
In fact explorer.exe has a PNG file containing the effects applied to the start menu user picture and "C:\Windows\System32\authui.dll" to the logon image.
@ xiphi why would they waste their time on ultimate extras. oh wait they have...
It's the UI by design. I can understand you don't like the design, but it's still by design. Not giving this my vote.
