Productivity suite inconsistency big time
Vista sports three basic productivity applications: Mail, Calendar and Contacts. All three have different look.
Let's see:
1) Contacts uses Explorer window, Mail and Calendar use their own windows.
2) Toolbar colors are different in Contacts and Mail/Calendar.
3) Search bars located differently in all three applications.
4) Search bars have different size.
5) Search button in Mail has drop down menu, no such menu in Calendar and Contacts.
6) Calendar displays search placeholder as "Search...", while Mail and Contacts show standard Windows' "Search".
7) Menus are different in all three applications: Contacts have it hidden, Mail and Calendar render top menu selection differently.

Can we please have basic apps consistent in Windows?

This is funny.
The three different search locations for these three apps... it is just vista all over.
Someone didn't get the memo about vista ui.
and someone else misread it.
I know, this is about UI and graphic bugs, but what really sucks is that if I add a birthday to a contact in windows contacts, it doesn't appear in windows calendar...
Contacts aint a application, its a folder in windows explorer.
