Forced to use default email account when sending email from office application on Vista Bus

Submitted by kcwallace on June 11, 2008 to Annoyance, Bug, Usability

When using Office 2007 in conjunction with Vista the following occurs. There is no issue with XP

if you attempt to email a file by choosing the "send/email" option from any Office program it opens the Outlook Mail Client. No matter what email account you attempt to send an email from it always overrides my selection and sends from the default account.

This is a serious problem when you use Outlook to maintain several email accounts

Please return it to its XP functionality

It works for me. Maybe some issue with the default program settings in control panel? Is Outlook your defalut mail client?
