Show total size of stuff in the recycle bin

Submitted by bandycj on June 8, 2008 to Annoyance, Usability

Windows 98 used to show the total size of stuff in the recycle bin on the status bar. XP took it down to just counting the size of the files but not folders. Vista has done away with it completely unless you ctrl+a.

Show a summary *somewhere* on the recycle bin window of the total size of the recycle bin.

The status bar needs to be removed.

Well maybe you don't use the status bar, but I need to know detailed info about the folders I'm working in. You could hide it in XP if this was too much for you, what's wrong with that?

Not fixed in Windows 7 too! Can't even use Properties to see total size. What a bull shit OS.
