Let's stop posting on AeroTaskforce, use Windows7Taskforce

Submitted by antiufo on January 3, 2009 to Website suggestion

Windows 7 will be probably released within this year, and Windows Vista will be quickly replaced. Microsoft is fixing Windows Vista quirks in Windows 7

In AeroTaskforce we post quirks of Vista, but:
* If it has been fixed in Windows 7, there is no reason of posting it in AeroTaskforce
* If it hasn't been fixed in Windows 7, post it in Windows7Taskforce, isn't it a Windows 7 quirk?

Let's stop posting on AeroTaskforce, use Windows7Taskforce instead.
This would be the last post.

What if I don't have Windows 7 and don't want to participate in the beta, but I still want to inform MS of Vista quirks ?

I know that Microsoft will never fix any UI related in Windows Vista (even in SP2 or later), because the $$$ (To make Windows 7 is a worthy upgrade, just like they did with Windows XP). People, stop dreaming! So Aero Taskforce is intially for Windows 7. If we have Windows 7 Taskforce, use it instead. Why we need to post here?

Demoted. I think most of the Vista issues will still apply to Windows 7 since it's clear that MS is using most of the Vista codebase which includes Aero etc. So I think it's wrong to leave the Vista issues behind because most of them still apply. Would it be possible to merge both systems? Or perhaps copy the Vista issues into the Windows 7 page?

I like the way the OSX taskforce remains a single source even though many releases, 10.4 10.5 and soon 10.6, and there is only 1 page. I think it would have been better to keep vista and 7 together for that very same reason.
