Use the mouse's scroll wheel to look through fly-out menus

Some of the folders in my documents flyout menu in the start menu are quite full. Not all of the files can appear at once, so Windows provides little arrows at the top and bottom that let you scroll the menus, albeit at a very slow rate.

You should be able to use the mouse wheel to go quickly through these menus. Then they'd actually help me in getting to things quicker.

Control Volume with Mouse Wheel

When you want to increase or decrease the volume in Vista, you have to click the volume icon and then adjust the volume.

Allow the user to simply move the cursor over the icon, then use the wheel without clicking. It's something I miss terribly from KDE when I was using it. Yes, the mouse wheel works, but only after clicking the icon. It's a minor inconvenience, (more...)
