Why does IE 7 (on Vista) warn that Windows UX Taskforce is a Phishing Website, when you go to the "post a suggestion" area?

Snipping tool needs a text commend function

Submitted by maxico86 on June 16, 2008 to Usability

The snipping tool has no function to add a text commend.
And there is no way to change the color of the text marker. Why? The color of the other marker can be changed too.

1. Please add a text commend function to snipping tool.
2. Add the option to change the color of the textmarker (like it is already available for the other marker).

One-Click vs. Double- and/or Right-Click in taskbar

Submitted by maxico86 on June 16, 2008 to Usability

Thats not logic. In the taskbar you need one click to open a minimized window. To open a program in the quick launch bar, you need one click, too. BUT when you want to open something in the notification area, you have to use a double-click or a right (more...)

Please standardize how to open something in the taskbar. One click to start something in the notification area would be much more logic.

The system control icon says nothing!

Submitted by maxico86 on June 11, 2008 to Icons, Usability

This system control icon doesn't visualize anything. When you look at it, you would never now, that it has to do something with system control.
On all other devices, like mobilephones, there are shown instruments to visualize the settings.

There should be some instruments shown, like a spanner, etc.

Submitted by maxico86 on June 11, 2008 to Usability

In Explorer, the XPS documents have an preview picture. PDFs had this also in Windows XP Explorer. But in Windows Vista, there is no preview picture of PDFs. Why?

Show preview pictures of PDFs in Windows Vista Explorer, like it was in Windows XP Explorer.

Photoprint dialog has to low options for resize.

Submitted by maxico86 on June 11, 2008 to Annoyance

When you use the print dialog for photos, you can't resize the picture the way you want.

It should be possible to manually resize the picture for the paper format you want to print it on.
