When copying files to a removable drive occasionally the estimated time is way off.
This problem doesn't happen to me every single time, I have only seen this problem happen a few times though. What happens is when moving/copying files to a removable drive such as a USB Flash Drive, SOMETIMES Vista estimates the amount of time remaining (more...)

Some folders, when opened show icons inside but no file names
Some folders, when opened will show only the file/folder icons and no file/folder names. So only the icons show up! It even looks like the folders/files (the icons) are moved up a little bit since there are no names.

Not sure since I've never seen this problem in other OSes, but something is definitely screwed up in Vista.

Old Downloaded Program Files and Offline Files icon
The Downloaded Program Files and Offline Files icosn are old Windows 2000 ugly icons.
Make them the newer Vista/Windows 7 style.
