Services settings features older icons

This takes some digging. You first have to go to the services and right click on one of the services and chose propties. Click on the last tab and you are presented with an older 9x icon

some may feature diferent icons so watch out...

Wireless settings on flash drive uses XP era icon

When you save your wireless network settings on a flash drive, the icon for the flash drive changes to a flash drive with a signal comming out of it. Problem is, the icon is from the XP era.

Multiple users: Removing shared programs's SHORTCUTS from desktop removes it from all other desktops

We have two users on one of our computers. I removed "msn" from the desktop on my account and it actully removed it from the desktop on the other (original one user account). This shouldnt happen. Ifg I want to remove a program like msn from (more...)

temperary disable bearlukes account (min. 7-14 days) if he comes back withbthe same attatude then ban him. I know it's harsh but like I said first time visitors who joined left because his attatude scared them off.

Bring back the old Sidebar from the 4xxx bulids and intergrate it in to the so called "superbar"

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up. If you followed the vista development from the start you would have known a feature that first apeared in the late 3xxx to early 4xxx bulids. It was the Windows Sidebar, but it wasnt like it it is now. (more...)

Reduce the name "windows" in the programs

In Vista, almost every single program has the name "windows" in it. For Windows 7, please reduce the name "windows" You dont need to say "windows media player" Just say "media player" You dont need to say "windows (more...)

Single disc for upgrade/clean install (see discription bellow)

while you can do this now there are still the "upgrade" discs as well as the "Full verson" discs. If you can already do both from one disc what's the need for the options I just mentoned?

Log in screen difers on 100 DPI then on opthers

When you set your DPI to 100 the log in screen displays users from top to bottom. All other DPI settings it is from left to right.

fix the DPI settings for the log in screen at 100
