Make this site use the Segoe UI font the same as Windows 7 Taskforce does

Problem: I know this site has been largely superseded by Windows 7 Taskforce, but wouldn't it be nice to make this site use the Segoe UI font anyways?

Suggestion about Picture Viewing

Problem: No integration with Silverlight Deep Zoom for picture zooming. Picture fidelity is not up to par with other sites, neither does it utilize Silverlight's capabilities.

Solution: I would like to see the integration of Silverlight Deep Zoom for the reference pictures on this site.

Shut down new submissions for the Aero Taskforce

Problem: The Aero taskforce is has not really received any submissions recently. Windows Vista is now a mature product, and UX feedback is now being rolled into Windows 7.

Solution: Leave Aero Taskforce open as a reference, but close it for new submissions.

Problem: It's not easy to remember all promotes/demotes, and I need to click Change vote and see which way the number goes to check if I promoted or demoted.

Solution: Change blue background after voting.
Tip: green for promote, red or pink for demote.

Note -- it's already implemented on Windows 7 Taskforce, but not on Aero/Aqua Taskforce!

Most AeroTaskforce issues still apply to Windows 7 taskforce

Problem: Most of the AeroTaskforce issues apply to Windows 7 taskforce. Windows 7 uses the same Vista codebase, same drivers, same Aero layer, etc etc. It's not a complete rewrite of Windows. It's more of a Vista 2.0.

Public Vote for Severity or Impact

Problem: Right now we can only vote for or against a submission, and that's all
However the no. of promotes - demotes does not tell how serious the problem is, it just shows how many people have read it or whether people have read it properly or not.

Solution: If we vote for it, we should have a severity level to choose from, 1,2,3,4 or 5.
and a way to sort submissions according to their level or severity

Windows 7/Aero Taskforce names

So if there is a Windows 7 Taskforce would it not be more correct to rename this one Windows Vista Taskforce?

Do not require additional login entry for Aqua and Aero Taskforce

Problem: For those of us who submit quirks for both Mac OS X and Vista, we must log in for both the Aqua and Aero Taskforce.

I would submit this also to the Aqua Taskforce, but we haven't yet got the "Website suggestion" category. (more...)
